Horizyn applies security and privacy controls across authentication, data handling, infrastructure, and AI processing. This page describes what is in place today.
Data Use
Your data stays yours
Horizyn does not use your workspace content, messages, or metadata to train models. AI features use your data only to generate product outputs — like summaries and classifications — within your workspace.
Encryption
Encrypted everywhere
Data is encrypted in transit over HTTPS with HSTS enforced, and encrypted at rest in the primary database. Sensitive credentials like Slack tokens receive additional application-layer encryption before storage.
Data Use
Your data is never sold or shared
Horizyn never sells your workspace data or shares it with third parties. All AI processing runs on Horizyn-managed infrastructure. Your data is processed only to deliver product features to your workspace.
AI Processing
Where AI features are used
Horizyn uses model-assisted processing to power specific product capabilities. Here is exactly where.
- Summaries: AI-generated summaries of conversations and topics.
- Classifications: Automatic topic and category assignment.
- Scoring and embeddings: Contextual relevance and prioritization signals.
- Your workspace data is used only to produce these product outputs. It is not used to train or fine-tune models.
Infrastructure
Infrastructure and operational controls
Horizyn applies infrastructure controls across transport, secrets handling, data storage, and operational logging.
- All browser traffic is delivered over HTTPS with HSTS enabled.
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Secrets are stored in AWS Secrets Manager and injected at runtime — never baked into application images.
- Security-relevant authentication and administrative actions are recorded in audit event tables.
- Terraform state is encrypted.
